We respect your right to delete your account and personal data. This section explains our account deletion process and data retention policies in compliance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure) and applicable UK financial regulations.
Step 1: Request Deletion
Go to your Account Settings and click "Delete My Account". You will receive a confirmation email with a secure link.
Step 2: Confirm Deletion
Click the confirmation link in your email within 24 hours to verify your deletion request. This step ensures account security and prevents unauthorized deletions.
Step 3: 30-Day Grace Period
After confirmation, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to log in, but you can still cancel the deletion if you change your mind.
Step 4: Permanent Deletion
After 30 days, your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems. This action is irreversible.
During the 30-day grace period:
Your account will be deactivated and inaccessible for login
You can export your data at any time using the link provided in your confirmation email
You can cancel the deletion by clicking the cancellation link in your confirmation email
If you cancel, your account will be fully restored to active status with all data intact
After 30 days, deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed
When your account is permanently deleted, the following data will be completely removed from our systems:
Your name, email address, and contact information
Account credentials and authentication tokens
Profile settings and preferences
Flight search agents and saved searches
Price alerts and notification settings
Any content or data you created within the service
Due to legal and regulatory requirements, certain data must be retained even after account deletion:
Important Note: If you have never made any purchases or payments on our platform, ALL of your data will be permanently deleted after the 30-day grace period with no retention whatsoever. The retention requirements below ONLY apply to users who have made at least one payment transaction.
For financial and tax compliance purposes under UK law, we are legally required to retain:
Anonymized transaction records (purchase history, payment amounts, dates)
Anonymized invoice and receipt data
Anonymized financial audit trails
This retained data will be completely anonymized—your personal identifiers (name, email, etc.) will be replaced with anonymous IDs that cannot be linked back to you. The anonymized data serves solely for legal compliance and cannot be used to identify you.
Under UK tax law and accounting regulations, we are required to retain financial records for:
Transaction records: 6 years from the end of the financial year
VAT records: 6 years (as required by HMRC)
Company accounting records: 6 years (as required by the Companies Act 2006)
These retention periods are legal requirements, not our policy choice. After these periods expire, all anonymized data will also be permanently deleted.
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format before deletion:
You can export your data at any time during the 30-day grace period by clicking the "Export My Data" link in your deletion confirmation email. No login is required—the link uses secure token-based authentication.
Your data export will include your profile information, flight search agents, token usage history, and transaction records in JSON format.
